Celtic Heroes

I have my fire ward maxed at 25/25. Not currently sure about how much resist it gives right now. But when i use rings (+6 in total) and heat resist bracelets (+120 in total) with the maxed fire ward, it doesn't seem to reduce the heat damage much, if any at all than what the maxed fire ward does on its own. I noticed this while vsing the golems on the lava field, and the summer dragons. I'm assuming this is the case with other wards, but I could be wrong.

Do the wards actually become less influential to the dmg taken at very high levels? Should i keep the ward maxed or invest points into other skills? I can't really decide and would appreciate any feedback.
