Nothing new or exciting, but I'm thinking of trying a more DPS based Druid, at least until I get to L80 or so, and take another assessment (i.e. use an Alt book) again.
Currently @ 46, I have most of my points (sorry don't have idevice atm) into:
Nature's Touch 14/15 (15 with ring) - what ever the leaf symbol is lol, I keep getting them confused
Lightning Storm (12/15?)
Strangling Vines (12/15?)
Lighting Touch (4/15) 5 with ring - just recently got the quest completed
Bark (2/15) 4 with rings
How far can I get with this? And should I add more pts into bark (again, with Alt book later on if needed), since it seems to help me a lot now? I can kill a L53*** swordmaster without healing with only just 5 in the skill.
Re: Thoughts, opinions, on this Druid?
#2i think u should keep lightening strike and vines cuz u still solo
keep at least one heal, embrace will be good cuz its restores during the battle
u can bark\abudance\storm touch for fourth skill for lvling solo
and its lightening strike (the first skill) and storm touch from the quest (cregnius pages)
u can also keep 2 healing, im using embrace and nature touch cuz im grouping a lot and helping with bosses sometimes

#3Regenleif made a excellent guide for starting druids. Infact it touchs on this exact subject. I'd scroll down a little and check that out. Think it would be really helpful in the advice u need.

#5Can you clarify a little Mariner? I am a bit confused if this is your current build, and you are going to change it to DPS, or if you have changed it, and now asking thoughts on what you did.
I guess the "thinking of trying" didn't quite mesh with "how far can I get with this?" for me.

Re: Thoughts, opinions, on this Druid?
#6Are you looking to solo or group with your build. If grouping mainly then your good with what you have. You could drop storms touch lower for more points in bark or drop bark for embrace but with your natures touch that high you'll have no problems keeping your group healed. If you're planning on soloing then my personal suggestions would be to drop alot of points outta natures touch and go with the bark embrace combo to keep you alive during the fight. With the number of times natures touch gets interrupted I personally feel like bark and embrace is a more reliable combo. At your level though I'd recommend a lower storms touch because of the massive cooldown it has. Just my thoughts. I still solo alot with my Druid, currently level 97, and I couldn't think about not having a good bark and embrace.

#7Heh, sorry for the confusion Dersu. This build is now L50, so it's more like "how far can I get with this?" kinda thing. Can you clarify a little Mariner? #8Ok, showing my druid noobness. All this time, I thought this was a Solo build lol, but your reply seems to indicate otherwise? Are you looking to solo or group with your build. Does embrace last longer with more skill points?

Re: Thoughts, opinions, on this Druid?
#9Embrace doesn't last longer with more points but embrace is less interupptable than natures touch meaning it'll be easier to recast during a fight. Your build is a good solo build with where you're at but in otherworld you'll find your natures touch interrupted often. With a nice bark and embrace it'll help keep you alive for the fight. But otherworld is a ways down the road for you. If your build is currently working for you where your at then by all means you are doing something right. Glad I could help

#10Thanks!
This Druid is just something I'll jump on when I get bored lol. My 'main' right now is a Ranger, and after doing 12 lvls on eyes, and looking at 10 more lvls of the same, I needed a break
Yea, this setup is working right now, but good to know of alternatives! I'm basically trying to "see" into the future in terms of the build would stack at higher levels. As you pointed out, maybe not as good with more interrupts from eyes. Right now, I can do up to L53** without healing but *** needs some healing within fights.
