Re: HW as support skill?

#2
Dont use hw as support skill since it is useless for bosses(only use on mos) and you should only become support around lvl 90 but until then have these skills maxed

vines
touch
hw
and as many points into dps skill (lightning or storm)
this is hybrid build

once you get to 90 you can decide to keep solo/partner lvl or group lvl
also read my post http://www.onethumbmobile.com/celticher ... 48&t=18586for more info as that would help alot and go into my skills in detail

ps: use strenght and dex since foc isnt that important ur lvl (my doesnt have str since the blade gives me 75)

howling wind can be used as support skill, but it isnt very usefull on bosses. on mobs it is very effective however, certainly if u have some defence items like solstice/earthstone boots or greaves and the birch rings. on my druid lvl 141 i used howling wind at max lvl, 2 radiant earthstone birch rings (250 defence each), lesser earthstone boots (150 defence i think) and greater earthstone pants (350 defence if im correct). with these items i could solo wyverns with all dmg skills maxed and a few point on embrace, because i take like 1 hit every 5 times it tries to hit me, the smallest embrace coul heal me up again. so for solo lvling its usefull, but also when lvling with lets say a rogue with defence armor when u are mostly dps skills, u will be able to help killing then and that way kill faster, it just requires some training and dont drop nature touch entirely, u still need it sometimes. to max like vines and lighting strike with howlling wind and embrace and few point on touch will be very good, just need defence items with it. so for howling wind on support, only if u just lvl, for bosses i suggest one of all druids in a clan use it and try to keep the main buffs in case of solo overhealing bosses. for higher lvls that are active i suggest making a plan with other druids about who uses what buffs and that way have the best setup in buffs for the bosses that are harder to kill. for lower lvls i suggest no howling wind yet, as the mobs use too many skills wich is not affected by howling wind.

hope it helps,
