Hi there,

I advise you post this in the "Druids" section under "Classes" area a little below General Discussion. Its there for these kinds of questions.

Welcome to the forums, and the game.

Cheers

Dark

Just scan the druid forum.

Just read.

Here is a solid Druid Guide to start you off: Regenleif's Druid Guide

Its not flawless, I personally don't agree with all of his points..but its a solid great starter guide to get your feet wet.

Just read.

Since this post is druid-orientated, I will move it to that board of the forums. :)

As Tea mentioned, learning the ins and outs can be done by reading through the forum, searching for specific questions, and reading some guides.

Regen's is rather long, but I think this is one of the most important sentences from it:
Storyline (The Curse): DO IMMEDIATLY, and when you cant solo a mob (except Havgar), look at the above chart and train until you can.
I can't stress this enough. I know you might want to do this or that, but following the initial storyline quest will get you armour, jewelry, a weapon, and many of your skills and abilities for free. It will also get you up to about level 20 or so.

The big thing in that, is taking some time to train between quest parts. Kill more than you need to. I think you only need to kill a few Darkpicts, for instance, but adding a few more kills will give you some experience (may even level you up) and will make you stronger for the next section of the questline. Take some time to kill wolves before moving into the castle. Spend time killing Bandits before moving to Skullcrushers.

You want to move through the storyline quickly, yes... but if you are dying several times trying to kill wraiths, you are actually prolonging your development. Spending time in an area also means you might get lucky and force a rare spawn. They aren't everywhere, but they are throughout the game. I spent a fair amount of time killing Bandits, and ended up killing some rare gold bandits. I spent a lot of time training on Boars and Faeries (much later... you won't be there for a while) and ended up getting some really good drops off them.

Enjoy the game. Train. Learn.
