Druid Tank

I wanted to write a little about playing my druid and what fun I am having being able to solo catacomb Boss's and some of the Shalemont bosses as well.....and survive for a while against harder bosses too. I have beefed up my vitality and with the shield I have over 1800 health. No roots for me I just wade in and start whacking, firing vines and lightening.
I approach soloing a boss like I do healing for a boss fight. I cast embrace and shield and try to keep them on during the whole fight if possible. I know these get interrupted a lot but I will continue to spam those buttons until they cast. I know that eventually my energy will run down so I try to conserve where possible. I wont hit shield, embrace, or vines unless they have expired. If I get Really low on energy I relay on my rejuvenate Amulet and just use Natures touch and slowly pound the enemy with my totem and heal when I have enough energy. It is a tricky thing becuase of the interrupts to natures touch.
Also I am a level 76 Druid!
Bosses in Shalemont I've solo'd
Jarell
Stabscar
Laird
Notchspire
Issian Firecry
here are the skills I have maxed:
Lightening, Vines, Touch, Embrace, Bark.
Here is the equipment:
Armor
Pre update Plate
Warden legs gloves boots and helm
Lux Items
Golden Rejuv amulet
Golden Gloves of Haste
Golden bloodlust helm
Golden Orb of Energy
Golden Shield of Valour
Weapon
Ancient Bear Totum
Regarding the lux items, I didn't initially buy all of them them for my druid but they sometimes come in handy during a fight.
Since I have a big selection of equipment I try to choose what will be best for the boss I am fighting. Magic attacks I use the orb and Warden, others I use the shield and pre-update. I may switch out the gloves of haste and blood lust for more DPS. Sometimes I have to try 2 or 3 times but when I can finally do it it is really thrilling. This is one of the funnest parts of the game for me!
Oh and I was able to get most of the lux items at less than half price! It seems that everyone was broom crazy this Halloween
Any way good lock out there Druids!! After being a Ranger enthusiast, I now am loving playing my druid. I am leveling them together!
