Buy "roots" skill from highschore so you can root enimies and then just use lightning to attack them because the roots skill allows you to make them not move for a certian amount of time, you being a druid have the advantage of long range attacks, hope that helps

Honestly you want my opinion. Dont buy roots its useless after so long cause while roots is on you may only have enough time to heal before roots is off. but I would go with abundance till your a high enough lvl to take on all the mobs. Then switch over to howling wind or roots,
But say for the 75 lvls this is what my skills would be.
Lightning Strike- 15/15
Healing touch- 15/15
Natures Embrace 15/15
Strangling Vinse 15/15
Bark 15/15
Howling wind 5/15 (unless you dont have sigils then its Meditate 5/15)

I faced the same , after using fettles and milking for all its worth and then maxing my nature magic. I moved on to connacht soldiers, near greygeorge. The two stars , archers mainly gave me good xp, so i stood in one spawn spot and killed it over and over again and being able to heal makes up for our lousy weapons and low offensive skills. After reaching 45 i moved on to marshall gannon and connacht horses, it gets boring but once u find out the best time vs xp ratio for your level stick with it till they dont comply anymore. After 50 i tried the one star boars occasionally. It gets better, as u level up ,as lightening and vines come under nature magic ability and druids usually have it maxed, so the effect is much better. Also i had dex 40 which helped me dodge a lot and cast heal more often.i notice its quite useful at a low level , kinda helps in defence. Now i had to alter it and it takes forever to cast the same spells, not sure though. But once u reach 50+ u will start loving being a druid
we can heal in the middle of a fight! How cool is that
and once the fight is over we emerge victorious with full health :p i admit trainign is boring when u feel powerless and dunno how to go about it, but it would be much better soon

I'm no pro Druid.
But I gotta say, it isn't the most graceful solo class. Sure you can precast an embrace and then root or pull, and once you get a handle on it that's fine, but needing to skill up the root when you really should be skilling up other stuff seems a waste. I eventually bought a book of alteration and dropped root and just focused on maxing my embrace(HoT) and then maxing my touch (big heal), and after that I try to find a decent situationally aware Warrior and partner up.
I can meditate mid battle if things get hairy, or I can contribute to offense if things are manageable, but in my lvl'ing up I have found it increasingly valuable to carry an awareness of who is a decent warrior and who just has no idea what the group dynamics of healing aggro and how a tank needs to assist their healers.
It's been a fun haul for me, just learning who earns my respect and who doesn't. But the good news is if you don't treat my Druid well I don't heal ya.
I call it heal-karma and it's keeping me leveled.
All the best and good luck with your Druid.

The best way to lvl up is if you can find a Warrior/Rogue that teams up with you. It cuts their lvling up speed about 1/4-1/2 (depending on their equipment and signals) so it might be difficult to find one. My warrior teamed up with a same lvl druid and we did 50 lvl in 4 days.

I have to say that even though grouping is a better way to level a druid...I mostly leveled alone. Long slow hard but I liked the self reliance. I also played a ranger so when I got her lux I used it with my druid for extra DPS which helped!! I do remember that the 20-30's were very frustrating. Very hard to get high exp for mobs. Once you get high enough though a druid is a blast! I had fun with roots and eventually I ditched them because they were too slow. Eventually you will be able to solo Bosses (I don't like to do this anymore because it leaves out other players and this is a game to play with people!!!) Good luck love playing a druid!!!!

I think that once you reach lvl 80 you can start working on roots cause they become pretty usefull when you try to take on a melee only boss like crumble horn or sphirehoof. But lvling is hard but not anymore i can solo anything i want. To show people what a druid can do i decided i was gunna tank 6star lvl 80 Ice lord. I was doing for a little till rival clan took my agro
