Multi task druid.

#1
I have been duo my druid and ranger latley, its better fun than wih my worrior main and the druid does some damage so kills are faster.
My question is how am i best to use my damage points on druid? I have aprox 40 points i can spend, do i spread evenly between all 4 dps skills or max vines/swarm or max lightning and split into vines/swarm. Or some other combination.
Or should i sacrifice some of my support points to be able to level both faster? This wouldn't be so bad as ranger has a reasonable heal.
Any advice welcome guys so please chip your opinions in as I'm finding druids hard to get good results from.
Thanks guys

Splitting points into dps skills isnt a good idea. Your best option with the skill points is to max vines, lightning and any spare points after those 2 into calm (if any).

If you wanna take an extra step i suggest you remove a buff skill and place those points in roots. That way your ranger can bolas/longshot and the druid will root. Mob will be slowed down most of the time taking pressure off healing/buffing and allowing for more dps meaning faster kills. This is only effective with 3s mobs and above so any below that bolas will handle allowing time for you to kill it before it reaches you.

If you don't mind post what skills you're currently using which would help decide which skills to use.

Well i have been having a go at this over the weekend.

I broke my druid lol. Druid is now hurrendus as suport for main but..... Things seem fast with ranger.
My skills are:
Shield of bark. 20
Lightning. 20
Vines. 20
Embrace. 20

I do have some spare points but I'm saving them as i will turn 90 in the next day or so. :)

Ranger is op with bolas to level.
Longshot. 27/25
Sharp. 25/25
Double To level
rapid. 6
Sharpon wep. 6

The combo works well although its hard work keeping on top of everything. Hoping i can get both to 105 for the end of this event as that is my 1 year anniversary and would like to compleate astrial quests for then.

Thanks for the advice.

What I've been using for supporting my warrior when soloing bosses or when leveling...

Max Touch
Max Vines
Max Lightning
Max Bark
rest in Embrace

This build is more geared towards supporting the warrior when tanking, but still able to dish damage to make kills quicker.

Vines is great... when you have LOTS of energy regen. Max or overmaxed vines take a ton of energy... and hurts even more when it misses. Vines/Lightning gives you good DPS while still being able to support where needed.

Technically you could have roots on your druid to "perma" root the mobs (Root/Longshot), just don't ever BOLA a rooted mob as it unroots them.

As an update to this i have gained a good few levels and im still not 100% happy but its starting to work.

Ranger has all attacks maxed or to 10 levels above.
Druid has 25/25 lightning and vines.
20/25 bark and embrace
Remaining points in touch.

I'm thinking i may ditch embrace and half bark, level touch and swarm.

Both have loads of regen and as i upgrade my worrior to 150 lux will get the hand me downs so health and energy are not a problem.

Thank you for your help and advice guys but I'm starting to feel that druids are atrocious to level and those that have high levels esp as a main are crazy, saints or both.

Maybe u should put points into Roots instead of Shield of Bark because if u had roots u probably wouldn't need Shield most of the time unless evaded. But I really like vines and lightning strike, but vines and swarm works also.
