Nature touchs needs this...
People say druids would be "OP"
They wouldn't, there is a cool down.
Besides, rogues have shadowstrike, better armour, sneaky attack, dps....
Warrior have great armour, good hp, dont need alot of stats, and good melee.
Rangers don't get played much but they have, better armour, bolas, longshot, rapid shot, light heal which is any cast time.
Mages have energy shield, very high skill damage, ice shards, i can go on...

What do druids have?
CONS: Cant solo, dps cost butt load of energy, bad armour (equal to mage). Nature touch slow casting. Alot of interruptions which they use spells to live while mages spells are fast cast.
Pros: decent dps skills but cost butt load of energy, nature touch which gets interrupted everytime!

Please make natures touch insta-cast!

+1, people been saying no reason as it got a dmg boost, but ALL SKILLS got a dmg boost at update 4.

instant touch might solve the healing dead people glitch, but at least make it uninterruptible

markwasilver do you have any arguments or is it another of your several empty posts?

ps to op: mages also have armour and energy problems
light heal gets interrupted
you forgot many problems that every classes have but whatever it's not the point of topic

What you said about rogues is true.
What you said about warriors is true.
What you said about rangers is mostly true, they have the same armor as rogues, yes they have bolas, longshot, rapid shot, light heal etc, but light heal isnt exactly "any cast time", it has just under twice the cd of natures touch, and I am pretty sure it takes longer to cast. Also don't forget bolas needs to be maxed to be useful, longshot needs to be mostly maxed to be useful, and light heal and rapid shot work best when maxed, otherwise its better to just use a haste lix or restos.

What you said about mages is true, but you needed to continue going on, and mention that they have the exact same energy/armor problems as druids, except mage skills are focused more on the energy problems, then the health and armor problems, which are druid's focus.

For example, mages have the skill sacrifice, which gives the target player energy at the cost of health (which is meaningless if theres a druid around). They have energy boost, a massive energy regen which works in combat. They even have a skill to boost your max energy (energy well). Druids have almost the exact same skills if you think about it, only focused on health and armor. They have natures touch, similar to sacrifice. Natures embrace, like energy boost, and meditate/shield of bark, similar to energy well. The only thing is, mages have really good damage skills as well, but at the cost of their awesome support skills. I'll bet if more mages went support instead of dps, there wouldn't be nearly as many complaints about energy.

Imo druids are pretty fine as is, although lower energy costs for skills, as well as a damage boost for their dmg skills would be great, (or instead of damage boost, maybe lower resistances to magic damage. In my experience magic dmg is the most resisted, many druid attack skills do much less dmg then a mage attack at the same dmg. For example, a lightning strike that does up to 900 dmg would most likely only do about 300-400 or so, while a firebolt/ice shards that does up to 900 dmg would probably do about 500-600 without a lure, (numbers are randomly generated).

Overall, I think that while druids have a few problems, it also has to do with how the various classes are played. Many people automatically assume that if someone is a ranger, then hes dps. If its a rogue, they assume its dps, if its druid, they assume its healer. People don't consider much the other possibilities of the classes, although OTM might need a tad bit of work on making the other possibilities a bit more powerful. I bet more druids will go dps if their skills energy cost was lowered. More mages would go support if....well, never mind, with how mages attacks are so powerful, they probably would never go support no matter how much the skills are buffed.

Ok first off please dont compare druid energy costs to a mage because we are in a totally different league.

Secondly a huge -1 to instant cast

Thirdly dont go plucking druid topics from the forums and placing in feedback when you got no idea what you are talking about and only to seek attention.

Thanks :)

I'm tired of my druid sucking and not able to solo worth sh*t.
Off the back I am going to say I am a complete neewbie, however, I have chosen Druid as my one and only char and so far most of my levelling has been solo, I am still not as high level as some of you guys here and a mate and some clan members have helped me with the odd lux item on loan etc. but... I'm now about 2-3 months in and LVL80 and I'd say most of it has been solo as that's how I like it.

I do get frustrated when some casts are interrupted but I just accept that as part of the game.

I guess not playing any other classes means I just work with what I have, but I make sure that I train my abilities as well and adjust my tactics. Sure, when groups get "hot" I can't easily continue to solo, so I wait and do those bits with friends or help others... I am always surprised and the number of people who want a druid along for the ride and they are surprised when I can even fight if required :o

As I understand it soloing a druid gets much harder at higher levels, time will tell for me, if that's the case then so be it but I cannot see myself ever not continuing to do some soloing as I like it.

As for the original post for me it's a -1 part of the challenge of the game for me is working out how to best use my druid skills
