Druid Guide Requests

#1
Hello Druids,

The current guides in our Lexicon are becoming a tad bit obsolete, so if any of you are up to the challenge of making a druid guide, some nice fresh builds from those who recently went along the low-lvl Druid path would be awesome!! The more guides the young Druids get to look at, and the more wisdom those guides can bring, the better!

Thank you!

It seems the druid forums have been dead lately so not sure how helpful it would be to make a new guide for newer druids when there havent been too many druids asking questions. I had been working on a build guide but never got around to finishing it. Maybe ill work on it sometime this week.

Many low druids don't ask because they stop playing. With problems imminent at all levels, why play one? I would make a guide, but, I'm such a bad leveler, and have been 115 forever.

While the threads are dead, I (and probably others) continue to receive pm's asking for advice and help on builds and technique. While so far I usually refer them to my guide, I feel it is probably a bit outdated now.

I may get around to writing a lower level guide, what kinda of builds are they looking for?
Lvling and hybrid/dps-based builds are the main requests, so anything for lvls 1-90 would be ideal.
Ok will do, I'll PM you a draft sometime tomorrow.

I loved healing as a druid but stayed around lvl 80 now for a few years. It has been suggested a few times that you should be credited xp by supporting instead of killing as well.

But for lower levels an aim on dps is good since a party won't really need your healing anymore due to all the items and high levels. When reaching the lvl 140 I think healing druids becomes more interesting for the clan I think. (Could be higher or lower)

I just recently built a dps droid for giggles and grins mainly, but discovered, its tons of fun, and lvls very fast.
Every skill point i get goes to root, lightning, vines and bees. I started off using an old event novelty wand, stave of tempest i think it is, a bodkin off hand, and just skilled away, letting the stave do that inbetween skills damage.
Once i hit 50, i hopped on my broom, then at 100, i hopped a dragon staff. Let novelty climb, and let skills do the kill.
4 foc and 1 vit each lvl is all i do.
At lvl 80, i put on full diamond armor. I tried earth stone, but its damage gain vs such low str made diamonds vit and foc bonus that much more desirable.
Energy is a hugh concern tho, good regents r essential.
