The truth about grasping root.

#1
Hey Guys!!!

So I just wanted to tell u all something........ (ITS LONG)

A lot of druids don't seem to like grasping root because they think its "bad"

However, grasping root is a very good skill compared to other druid skills. (Cough, Cough, Bless, Cough Cough).

Grasping root: Stops a enemy that is moving for up to X levels for 20 seconds.

So how can grasping root be good?

Its good for druids because you have the ability to stop an enemy, and then heal in peace. Its also good for druids because you can root an enemy and cast lightning strike from a distance.

And That's Not ALL.

Grasping a boss during a hard fight can give your team time to heal and prepare themselves again.

Remember, Grasping root isn't for everyone, buts its works great for me.

Post what u think below.

I might not seem the best option in cramped places. Like the boggan and bolg caves, where if u cast roots and back up, you will likely aggro another mob, because they are so close. Definetly good when u have space to move around, but if you can't safely move around howling wind seems better, even though touch may get interrupted.

Roots is one of the best druid skills. One a world where dl boss resetting is attempted frequently, being able to root the boss prevents reset especially if you have two druids with the same level roots. Its saved my ass on so many occasions from wiping at a boss or even when lixin on trolls. Its an amazing skills. One druid on my world has a hrung skull of grasping roots meaning she can keep a mob rooted permanently due to the reduced recast time
