Let's rescue the Rescue skill

Druids carry around with them several pointless skills. Perhaps my biggest disappointment in this game is having skills that are poorly conceived and poorly implemented. At first glance they seem nice but then you quickly discover how unpractical or lame the skill actually is.
RESCUE is clearly one of worst skills.
Having variety in the game is one of its best assets. Rogues for example are very singular which in turn makes them kind of boring. Druids have the most skills of any class, but soooooo many of them are soooooo lame that there really isn't a point of even having them listed, such as Spring of Life and Rescue.
So I propose changing the rescue skill to allow teleportation of one player, to your spot from anywhere in the current area. Currently it can only be used on players within "range", but if this could be changed to including anyone within the same region, it would add a new dynamic to the game.
Got a DPS issue with Snorri... use Rescue to bring a rogue to the fight. Running low on druids at Mordris... teleport another druid to help out. The idea is that instead of pulling rogues out of the fight, you can bring them to the fight.
I know... I can already hear the crying... *not fair*... the idea of being able to teleport a high level rogue instantly to a ffa could be concerning, but what really is the problem with that? Since most druids are never considered an asset to a ffa fight, rescue could bring a new element to the game.
The main issue to making this work is the way you select players. Currently, players out of range are not selectable, but maybe this could be changed some way?
