For somewhat of a solo leveling druid... what do you think would be more beneficial/better?

New 1 mil event wings or a level 120 Vines totem? My druid is only 111 hence only the level 120 totem.

I plan on solo leveling him for faster XP (half killing with my 169 ranger) or possibly group leveling with my 117 rogue.

What I like about the Wings - 400 point damage shield, up to a 1k proc damage hit (be better once they fix the lack of ability on new mounts), high hp/energy regen, 80% speed (no travel lix needed) and some mediocre resists.

Totem allows for +6 to vines, a little more focus and some crushing damage that could be coupled with an offhand axe/seer or haste dagger.

Either set up would most likely be used with Hero Gloves for extra melee hits.

Ideally I'd like to get the new focus ammy as well which would give me a 800 point damage shied...


So is the new vines totem worth it, or should I rock the wings until say 170+ where a Royal Totem could be used.

It totally depends on preference Somber.

As you said, each have advantages and disadvantages. While the totem does add to crush and let's you have more focus, your main source of power is not melee and the extra focus would not make a big difference. The wings however would offer you greater survivability, speed, regeneration and wicked looks

My choice would be to go with the wings if your skills are already maxed and you do not need the extra vine points from the totem.

I would advise the wings or any other mount with regens, and level with your rogue. The Rogue/Druid combo is an amazing choice with very speedy kills, so focus your druid on buffs to allow your rogue to be very dps-oriented. You should be able to find lots of discussion on this board about Rogue/Druid combo and stats if you dig deep enough!

Regen mounts ftw! The damage diff with wand won't be huge compared to the regen ur get from a mount. If u have a range of mounts Id advise the 1m skimmer or the 1m night flyer. Huge energy regen, damage akill and the freeze skill is Sooo useful I loved it
