Celtic Heroes

The title basically says it all. Is it worth getting either onyx or obsideon armor while waiting to get all the items gathered for frozen armor? I know I will be losing out on the chaos protection and the health boost, but the nature magic bonus these two armor sets offer sound like they will have more of an effect on my skills to balance it out. I would like to hear from your experience what works best. Thank you in advance.

If you level on the Blackstones, then sure: use the drops to get the armor. Obsidean/Onyx isn't THAT good however.. So don't purchase the items needed to complete the set. It is a good placeholder until you get frozen though.

I do level on them from time to time just because me and one other person can kill them at a fair clip to make it worth it. Since it looks like I will have to buy my last two crests and the remaining 30 frost orbs, I will heed your advice. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

By the time I had collected the stones for obsidian, I had collected the necessary drops needed for spiritshadow armor which I prefer over obsidian.

What makes it better than the obsidian or onyx armor? It looks like it will only add about 75 focus plus the cold damage. I would think the natures magic bonuses offered by obsidian would be better for a druid. Am I missing something?

Personally i dont have the armour yet but i think the spiritshadow boots and gloves, maybe hat combined with the other parts onyx/obsidian would be better because every armour piece from spiritshadow grants 15 focus while the onyx grants different amount of magic on different pieces.

I like my obsidian armor. The extra nature magic boosts helps. I think it is worthwhile.

I find a much bigger increase in heal with more focus over more nature magic.

At one pointt, I had a mix match of beast, wyrm, obsidian, and spirit.

Imo it isnt worth it I would just use spiritshadow until frozen spirit armour adds decent energy focus evasions and is about same as meteoric atleast ona druid it is besides druids have bark 1 less dosnt matter

I absolutely love spiritshadow armor. The focus bonus is significantly more than even 400 nature magic.

My heal with spirit shadow is 1752. In cosmic it's like 1500. The difference is very substantial.
