A question about focus.

I have a question regarding the so called "plateauing" of focus. Is there such a thing as a plateau after putting x amount of points into focus? If there is, then what is the threshold at which continuing to put points into focus stops yielding benefits? I guess what I'm really looking for is the max number of points to aim for. Thank you in advance for your help.

Every point has a positive benefit so long as your vit isn't so low you can't take a direct hit or an aoe hit.
Off the top of my head, my druid has somewhere between 800 and 900 focus. Some say 300 to 400 is when plateau hits. However, your primary skills are focused based and focus increases the amount of energy you have for spell casting.
Stay with 3 focus and 2 vit and you'll be golden

I feel myself as a tank with 2 vit 3 foc....but its good for lvling and bossing so u dont die. Its funny to watch how all other druids next to you keep dying with full focus builds

Until recently I had stopped investing in vit once I had 200 in it. Currently planning on taking my vit to 250 or 300 once I get my focus up to 400. Currently my stats are as follows: 5(20) str, 70(75) dex, 390(542) focus, and 210(270) vit. The parentheses represent the values including lux that give me some bonuses.

Yes and being full focus is silly if you can't survive long enough to keep others alive

Focus used to have a plateau of about 300.. but they changed this formula (not sure when.. but they did) and not the plateau is much less noticable. Just have enough VIT to survive and everything else in focus.

For sure but some people dont have regen so they need more energy

tought i have +100 a tic and i run lut pretty fast even with 7k energy lol..probably because of all my overmaxed skills..it takes alot of energy to cast

I don't know anything sure about a plateau but i have a lot of focus gear (adds up to 500 i think) and i can clearly notice the effect it gives even when i switch from 500 to 800 (weapons)

The plateua is simply a stat's effect on your skills gets lower and lower as the amount of total points you have increases. If you have enough hp then keep adding focus until you no longer can, it will never give you zero bonuses and you really have nothing else to put points into. Just because it plateaus doesn't mean it isn't effective.
