howling wind

just a little idea on the use of howling wind, personally i love this skill, but i feel it would be better help to me and others, if, i was able to cast it in the same way a mage can cast cloak of fire.
so instead of the enemy being buffeted by winds, the caster or target ally is protected by the winds.
any comments or opinions welcome on the idea.
