Simple question on Spring of Life:

Is it a self-cast only spell? or can u rez other players?

...or am i completely wrong in thinking that rez is resurrect?

What the heck is Spring of Life?

Am I missing some fabulous druid skill?????

It is a new skill in the update.

I really want to know what Rez is! Resurrect sounds a bit OP and would eliminate the need for Rez idols.

Is the skill above nature embrace new? I've never seen it before.

Still in Testing, can't really comment too much. When Beta ends I have written a Druid guide of each new skill and all necessary info for Druids.

It's a Rez of other players, many people on this forum asked for a Druid Rez in game, so it was added. I argued against it then, now I just pout in game.

Already in Beta I can't tell you how many lazy players ask for a Rez rather than just run back from a stone within sight distance. Now I just copy/paste the following into my chat logs: "the jog back here will be good for you"

It can only be cast on others, no self-cast.

Has nothing to do with regen, it just revives.

massadu...as conveyed by Xell, Spring of Life has nothing to do with Regen. It simply revives a nearby player when cast on him or her.

I think you misunderstood the word "regen". Regen is like natures embrace or meditate. It adds to your energy or health by a certain number for a certain time period. ( btw..regen is short for regeneration)

Revive, however, is resurrection. You get resurrected from the dead.

It's a controversial spell.

The point of the spell is to bring a player back from the dead so they dont need to Rez idol or revive at leystone. This mostly doesn't matter, but in the new zone there is only one starting leystone. So if you die, like in the Dragon's Cave, it will take you light years to get back without a Rez.

This said, when it comes out you will see why it's controversial, and to invest enough in it to make it worthwhile, you need to dump serious points into the skill...thus making you a less effective Druid overall except you can Rez. I think all Druids will need to weigh the importance of such a thing. As they weigh their own new builds in terms of healing, group buffs, and dps. Some won't use it, some will.

I also personally expect some kind of otherworld Ambulance-Druids to arise, like will Rez ya if you pay them. Should be funny.
