As a level 103 druid that uses Howling Wind a lot and also solo levels a lot, wondering which of the two new event lux ammys are better. The Zephyr gives 80 dex, which is good for howling wind, and also gives 1000 magic damage for 15 secs, which is good for dps. The River gives 80 vitality and 500 evasion boost for 15 secs. I'm leaning towards the Zephyr, but am curious to hear thoughts from those more knowledgeable than me.

How much dex do you have currently? I've changed my build, but I used to be a howling winds build. When I was, I had put 100 points into dex. You can look into some of the howling winds guides, but I'm pretty sure 100 dex is more than enough to make you formidable with that build through end game. I am personally saving up for the river amulet, as the extra vit will help me survive a little longer during soloing or bossing.

I always kept 400 to 500 defense when I was winds build

Um im not too sure but id lean towards the foc/vit just cause the one dmg add one sure does sound good/decent but gotta remember mobs resists and a lot of the times the gear sounds better on paper but is a major let down xD

Depends if u like the dmg better or the evasion, but you will always need vit so if u have the dex ammy then when you want to switch builds u might not need an alt book because you can just switch amy's. hope I helped.

Actualy just realized something, is the zephyr amy a dmg shield? or just strait dmg because having a dmg shield with a winds build seems kinda counter productive, I want them to miss, but if they do hit me, im gonna have a dmg shield just in case?

No i believe only yule ammys have the dmg shield that way otm can give different variations year round with out them all being the same each season

I use zephyr because I use wind to solo with. The dex and andded DPS from skill is nice. All depends on what lux/items u have and what build you are using.
