Just wondering what would be the better option for more dmg, moving from blackstones to boggans, it feels like storm and lightning are weak because of magic resist

Boggans are tightly packed together so bees going to end up killing you most of the time. If you have decent lix partners then use bees over storm.

Anywhere in carrowmore, bee's is unresisted poison dmg. Use that. It is a tie depending on scenario later in the game. Boggans-use bees

I always preferred Storm personally.

Storm's nice, but I always had it evade way too much. plus by the time I'm done casting it some rogue has already killed the mob I want to cast it on I prefer bees, but you do have to watch out for tightly packed mobs and when multiple mobs get pulled by your group.
