Celtic Heroes

So I've seen lots of different builds for the melee mage. Some have no firebolt, some have ice shards, some have e boost and some have incinerate. Can someone test out the builds and post the best build for a melee mage. Only condition is that firebolt must be included or it will be just another rogue on auto attack.

I don't see how someone else is going to test the builds to see whats best and be handicapped by your demands.
Maybe you could do some testing and let us know the best melee build that includes firebolt.

My 91 Mage isn't yet completed but it's a melee build and it has fire bolt.

Lure of assasins max
Cloak of fire max
Energy boost 5/25(with ring 1 without)
Lure ice 6/25 (with ring 1 without)
Lure of soldiers 5/25 (with ring 1 without)

STATS

Srength 5 (10)

Focus 205 (220)
Vitality 265 (270)

GEAR

Greater Earthstone helm
Greater solstice bp
Darkshadow breeches
Heroic gloves of haste
Greater Earthstone boots
Golden blade of fire
Heroic Amy of rejuv
And a fist

At your level, you may not need a maxed fire lure. You could play with taking some points off of there and see if you kill any less fast. Maybe a couple of points in Energy Shield for added time before "splat"?

Are you going for maximum dps? Are you going high survivability (with a h2h build)? The more you rely on your skills for damage, the less you are actually using your fists. If you dont have a radiant bp and legs, you can't expect to be the highest dps you could be.

If you are purely going h2h with lures and a cloak, some dexterity will allow you to hit more often but is also a risky move. I do suggest it however but only if your reliant on your h2h.
