My idea of a good build

#1
I was thinking this would work well using an ice blade with hero gloves- this set up for my lvl 92 Mage

25/25 Ice lure
25/25 Energy Sheild
25/25 Sacrifice
20/25 Bandage wounds
Rest in Shards

This would work before each mob by using energy sheild then replenish the energy by using sacrifice, then heal with Bandage wounds
What do u think?
184 Druid
205 Rogue
120 Ranger
201 Warrior
90 Mage

Haha, id save up for sigils. Do the following build (I have found)

34/25 (royal and grand firebolt rings included)
29/25 (grand incinerate ring) *NO CLOAK, Essentially your cloak and major dmg
30/25 Iceshards (royal ice shards ring)
25/25 flamestorm
10/25 energy shield (optional royal/grand/fabled ring)

Now heres my lure mage build (occaisionally swap to be when I don't feel like being in the fronts for training)

29/25 lure of assassins (fabled and glass lure of assassins ring)
29/25 lure of soldiers ring
34/25 lure of fire (or Ice)
25/25 energy shield
10/25 sacrifice (I throw crazy shitz out)

Choose wisely ;)

Your dmg output will be low without lures.

At your lvl I had something like
20/25 shield
25/25 fireball
25/25 incinerate
20/25 firestorm
15/25 lure of fire

Though u have better dmg when u have
20/25 shield
25/25 fireball
25/25 shards
15/25 lure of ice
14:25 lure of fire

If you use ice blade I'd def go for the second build. Personally I'm not fond of melee mages (for me) and at higher lvls (120+) I switched to shield anyways.

In general any build that doesn't use lures demonstrates a poor build.

Oh and h2h uses giant lure.

no giant lure please! Hand to hand is only for the speed. All your damage comes from elemental!
Mdi from what im thinking, giants lure is good as long as ya got an aggy book. 10 crush and the however many focus the book gives, you can put into str (Ik noob idea) but crush multiplies by str so the foc the book gives replaces the general amount of foc you were originally using (extra damage, the blade does its damage. Book its own as well)

You could just use ice blade with the book, wont need to put pts into strength. :D

Still, your H2H does alot less dmg, youd do better putting points in fire/ice lure, fireball, shards and shield...
