Watson, your ideas are wayyy off. If you dont like it go play a different game. You are asking for mages to be like god to the rest of classes and for them to be better than everyone. Thats not what classes are for as you say. They are for being able to EQUALY combine their power to carry out tasks together. You also need to learn respect and you dont get to talk to people like that just because your daddy lets you talk to him that way. Get a reality check. We are not facebook and dont want hissyfights spamming everything. :roll:

Again, all I have said is that there should be class roles. Where did I say I want mages to be gods??? Oh. That's right I didn't. Classes should combine their skills to help each other in the game, but all classes shouldn't be equal. Classes deserve specific/unique roles. No, I don't need to learn respect. You need to learn to not make up things I've never said.... :roll:

Emm well sorry to correct you, but mages werent meant to be dealing ginormous damage...
Rogues hit hard
Warriors get hit
Druids heal
Rangers...well we just suck tbh, probably soloing stuff was the idea
And mages are support..

Now i did actually agree with your original post, but after this update, yous have all gone power crazy, yes i can see your side of the argument, but seriously, 10k damage? Kinda unfair on the other DAMAGE classes no?
The highest skill hit is still by a rogue.
Yes but rogues cast one, mages cast about 4
Fionn dies..so you don't have to.

That rogue rebirth to full str and used gear that is not viable for leveling or for bossing making the leader board completely irrelevant lol c'mon man you know better

I agree with Josh though 45% is too big of a decrease , I really wish otm had boosted everyone else not such a drastic nerf to mages.

Mages were best direct dps, best indirect dps, best area dps, best boss DPS, best solo class, and really just overall best class in game.

I'm fine with indirect and area, but they shouldn't be outdamaging rogue on any 1 enemy or it makes the rogue class completely defunct.

If the solution was to boost rogue so much that they could out DPS a mage, you would have had to make them gods too and then the game would just be easy as hell.

Maybe I'm the only one who has played games where mages actually do dmg... Mages aren't supposed to just be support. I don't know of many mages who put many points into support lures. Maybe one or two tops to help with boss fights but tbh We use skill points for other more useful skills so we can play the game ourselves and not just hope for a grp....

No way on earth should mages be top dps. Best nukes? Yes, best indirect dps? Yes, the only energy healers? Yes. The best boss dps? No frikking way
think of it this way. if you hit a giant dragon with a little dagger or shot a flaming fireball at it, which one do you think would do more damage? I'm pretty sure the flaming fireball would hurt the dragon just a little bit more.

I said best nuke damage, but over time rogues should win. Any fight longer than 5 minutes should go to the rogue, short fights i am 100% cool with the mage winning due to BURST damage.
I agree short bosses( those that requires less than 5mins) should be killed by a mage and others by rogues.

HOWEVER, people have to bear in mind that the once-nuke spells that we had came with costs. Cooldown, high energy consumption and EVADES.

Another point is that we were getting the kill with a lure that WE mages have to include on our build to produce efficient damage output and rogues gets the common kill without a lure active. So does this mean the existence of pierce lure may lead to the rogue class being OP? Before anyone thinks this is a request to nerf the rogues it isn't. Just hope this mere theory doesn't result in nerfing the rogue class because that seemed to be the pattern here.

Either way Mage already has a role in this game it's just no longer the role you desire for them .

Why should 1 class be the best at so many things? Ranger is decent support toon , in order to be even close to Mage as a support toon we require a Mage in our group, how does that make sense? Only Mage can heal energy of others, they still have the best burst damage.

I actually expect that Mage will still get most of the kills not because they are so great but because other classes need boosts.

After patch :
- same dmg with rogue
- less armor than rogue
- harder work for mage to do dmg because of energy and evading

What's fair ??? We rshould have more dps in compensation

@eliminater : if we r whining my pretty , there s a reason :) the reason was that we was having energy problem , now we have dps problem hehehe

Mages where fine. We ran out of energy unless we were being boosted and sacrificed on bosses.
I was finally happy mages could go all ice in this update. But what on earth are you doing otm if your going to reduce by almost half which is far to much. I wouldn't of mind if u buffed shards if the reason u decreased ice blast was because it was aoe. You reduces it by almost half yet took 10% energy of it.... That's seems fair(sarcasm) the other problem i have is you have mixed fire and ice on dragon armour. Is there any reasonable explanation for this. You finally give the choice of separate paths for mags and do that to armour. My suggestions are boost ice shards or frostbite and keep the aoe ice blast as it is make the 10% energy reduction for all spells. As for the armour i suggest giving you the option for ice or fire dragon armour and the bone quest armours or put both ice stats and fire stats on them as being mixed fire and ice is not good for dps. Also have the option for changing your dragon armour from ice to fire if needed if u dont put ice and fire skills on the same armour. Hope you take these suggestions and change mages. Thanks
as i suggested in this post i think the aoe spell is op so boost our other spells and keep our damage roughly the same as it was.
