If you have a fire mage, whe fighting dragons in OW wouldn't the fire mage be rendered completely useless?
Also what does incinerate do?
What does Frostbite do?
And can I get a good fire mage build? thanks
Re: Fire Mage Build
#2Frostbite and incinerate are DOT (damage over time) spells. Frostbite does ice dmg per tick and incinerate does fire dmg per tick.

#3If you have a really good fire lure than you can still kick ass.If you have a fire mage, whe fighting dragons in OW wouldn't the fire mage be rendered completely useless?

Fire build is self explanatory, firebolt, cloak, fire attune, firestorm, inc, fire lure, whatever fire related skills. You might want to use eshield for better survivability but if you want to be full fire then nvm.
Best dps skills: firebolt and cloak, not inc and firestorm due to cooldown/if-evaded-ur-screwed.
Attune is nice use it.
So a good dps build would have maxed bolt, maxed cloak, maxed attune, half maxed lure (more for high fire resis according to situation, for most mobs half max is enough), and other skills you can choose whatever else you want, I would go with eshield despite the nerf, it's still useful.
For Inc and Frost keri answered already.
Re: Fire Mage Build
#5Frostbit is actually both. It has a dps immediate damage effect, followed by a dot. Incinerate is pure dot.Frostbite and incinerate are DOT (damage over time) spells. Frostbite does ice dmg per tick and incinerate does fire dmg per tick.
