ok so i have a 84 mage i played but quit a long time ago but i wanna start playing it again and was wondering the best things to get for it atm? i might be able to get plat to play it and my ranger at the same time and lvl them up so ideas on wat best to get? thanks!

Use ur mage as a lure monkey for your ranger now, their dps got wiped by quite a lot.

Lure monkey until ur mage is around ur ranger's lvl.

good input scorp, but for levelin purposes at that level I would suggest points into lure assasins till it removes 200 resistance. Put the rest of the points in bolt and shards to help and eboost probably.

Well your probably not going to level well as a lure monkey, its just a fact of the game that there aren't densly populated enough servers for relable group leveling. I would say your best bet is a solo build unless your going to be leveling yourself with your ranger consistently. even then the only groupable spell you will have is pierce lure.

Wait why did you want to make a mage again?

Here's what I use at lvl 81:

Maxed firebolt
Maxed firestorm
10/20 lure of fire
15/20 energy shield
Maxed energy boost

I have no major lux, my energy regen stacks up to 20 per tick. I find this build efficient for both solo leveling and group leveling(for solo, you might want to put a few more points into energy shield). I have 2000 energy(315 focus) and I never go below 1000 or so if I remember to keep on casting energy boost. Hope it helps

Correction: He said he HAVE a mage, not creating a mage. (you can't drag a lvl 84 mage out of thin air lol)

Well, he can dual device, so it's great for his mage to be support (lure + energy support maybe?), just in case his ranger does not have enough energy due to lack of regens whatsoever.

i cant dual log thts 1 thing but im going to go h2h build again thts wat i was till i stopped my mage its a nice build and good dps so thts it but ideas on equips for it? lol or i might go fire mage
