Mage nerf was different than described in notes

#1
Real data:

Before nerf lvl 36/30 ice blast: 4419 damage
After nerf same ice blast: 2192
After supposed boost: 2582
So 2192/4419= 50.4% nerf
2192/2582= 13% boost
2582/4419= 42% lower at the end.

OTM said in patch notes:

Ice blast is nerfed by 45% (actually was nerfed 50.4%)
After the nerf it was buffed by 25%. (actually was buffed 13%)
Result: 31.25% nerf to Ice blast (actual result 42% nerf)

Please fix this bug.

Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?

If you are indeed correct I applaud you, Yeah i knew something wasn't right with the figures. I've learnt to accept the fact that whats done is done but for future references hope they tell us atleast a figure rounded up to a certain significant point as the figures are very misleading.

Ice blast is broken! It has super-slow cast times and cooldown times, gigantic energy costs... and oh, forgot to mention that it is barely stronger than shards. In fact, it hit weaker in my experience. Get this: A 25/20 ice blast vs a 18/20 shards. Shards had more damage most of the time. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I use a fire build.

Yes thank you all! I posted the pictures to confirm my above numbers. Here they are again so you can do the math on your own.

I never used a rebirth book so all focus numbers are the same.

For what it was originally, it does seem like it is horrendously OP compared to everyone else's skills.
BUT,
Given how stupidly hard everything is now, they should have jacked up the other classes skills to meet in the middle.

To be honest iceblast was never there best skill. Firebolt has and always will be there top dps skill.
Ikr, but 4.5k at 36 points to everything in area seems pretty powerful, no wonder that they were getting complaints from the damage experts that are rogues :-)
