Crissa, lures should be almost precisely half max to reduce mob resist to zero. Only exceptions are monsters on the OTW lava which need near maxed fire lure to negate their resist.

Also with shield, your thoughts only work for low levels. My suggestion is you make sure you can kill a single 2 star monster comfortably with no shield, and use shield only for 3 star mobs. Use 2 shields and potions for 4 star mobs.

Also the best way to level a mage is with an ungrouped druid healing you.

Also no dex ever on a mage. Dex only really helps you dodge, but any extra points are better served in vitality.

3 points in vitality for every 4 points in Focus is the way to go if you are using eshield maxed. So if I'm level 140 that would mean 300 vit and 400 focus. Your 105 number only works for your level lol. You need to make this guide work for everyone.

Also a lure monkey should have maxed lure of magic, lure of assassins, and slash lure. Fire or ice lure is often times trivial for a lure monkey unless the other mages in the group don't have them. A typical lure monkey will also have eshield maxed and the rest of the points into energy boost.

It makes me angry that you are trying to make a sticky and you have very little experience with a mage. It would be best if you made a rough outline and gave it to a higher level/more experienced mage and we could fix it and keep the sticky updated.
