Re: Mage skill dmg governed on 5* and 6*

I don't think the damage is actually related to resist as much as you think it does. With 50 lure, full focus, you get around 1500 resist to take away. Yet I'm sure if you look at your damage on, for example snorri, your fire bolt/fire storm will hit like 1-2k (from memory). You will never hit close to 75% of your maximum capabilities, and I think that's just an implementation by OTM.

You can test this theory by using spells on a DL 6* boss with out lure, and again with lures. You will notice the normal 30-40% increase in damage that happens with regular mobs too. They don't have an insane amount of resist, it's just that your damage has been severely cut/capped.
Idk but no idea the cap system work. I need to not believe it in order to elimimate more sad for mages.

I seen rogue hit ss constant 2k to 5k on dl 5s or 6s depend their skill n dex lvl.
Kind of sad to mages tho.

If the divine bonus from dl could affect mages' skills too, they would have some unresisted dmg for chaos bosses, not just the dl offhand.
Rogues get the divine, get heat, and they have lots of poison dmg, so its easier for rogues to dmg considering the high amount of resists.

Warriors and rangers prob dont have any specific dmg problems, but warriors have dps problems, as for druids, they have lots of DoT dmg so it helps them get kills if they're trying to.

Mages prob suffer the most on dl bosses, druids too but since they have 2 DoT skills it covers for it, mages could use inc to help them tho, but still i think the divine dmg should somehow affect skills too, it would make skills like pummel, mage's skills, quick strike, druid's skills, more effective on bosses, and ofc ss on the top.
