Idk but no idea the cap system work. I need to not believe it in order to elimimate more sad for mages.I don't think the damage is actually related to resist as much as you think it does. With 50 lure, full focus, you get around 1500 resist to take away. Yet I'm sure if you look at your damage on, for example snorri, your fire bolt/fire storm will hit like 1-2k (from memory). You will never hit close to 75% of your maximum capabilities, and I think that's just an implementation by OTM.
You can test this theory by using spells on a DL 6* boss with out lure, and again with lures. You will notice the normal 30-40% increase in damage that happens with regular mobs too. They don't have an insane amount of resist, it's just that your damage has been severely cut/capped.
I seen rogue hit ss constant 2k to 5k on dl 5s or 6s depend their skill n dex lvl.
Kind of sad to mages tho.
