Wanting to know how many combos or alternatively exp elixirs I should be going through per level;

I'm level 111 as of this post and I currently level in the otherworld (can't remember the names of the mobs of the top of my mind, it's the shiver cowl looking things )

I have 770 focus and 235 vit due to my gear;
Focus of seer
Dark grimore of frost
1m focus ammy

I then have fire bolt ring and 3 fire attun rings

My skills I use;
Fire bolt 28/25
Lure of fire 25/25
Firestorm 25/25
Fire attunment 37/25
Rest in ice shards ( for that little extra damage )

I have a semi decent amount of sigils.

So yeah basically I feel like I'm going through to many combos/exp's and was wondering if there's anything I should change, gear, place of training, skills, stats etc. and for those who have passed this stage or are even on it how many lixes did you use per level?

I kind of stopped reading here because I already found your problem. From level 1 - 180, the most trouble you will ever have in leveling is where you are exactly. I stopped my ranger at level 111 for this same reason, leveling from 111-120 is the worst experience anyone can endure.

Reading again through your post, your gear looks really good, so nothing is lacking there and your skill set up is also decent.

Actually, I agree with armo but if you are a fire mage, move to the trees to level. You do solid damage and they don't suck your energy like the ghosts. Just ignore the horse-looking things. They are wasted on mages.

if u solo lvl and ve enough energy sigils ( or energy lixs) , go for eshield instead of shard
if no , go for inci instead of shard,u ll get more dmg since u use firelure

with inci , start fight like that :
inci → lure → firebolt → firestorm → firebolt ( first dmg of inci comes after the lure )

You will get more damage out if you cast lure/bolt/storm/bolt/incinerate. The quicker you dish out your nukes, the faster the mob will die. That's why people generally don't use incinerate for leveling, as you only get off one or two ticks before the mob dies.

This is what I thought and I do a good 1.7-2k damage with fire bolt and similar with storm so by then the mobs pretty much dead or if a 3-4* the same process again sometimes there's just that little bit of health left which is an annoyance so that's why I put the rest into shards for when I just need to finish something off and I still hit a decent 500 with it

That will give you less DPS... It will take like 3 ticks of incinerate to actually equal one bolt or storm, so the quicker you use bolt and storm, the more your DPS will be.

At his lvl, he can almost finish off mobs without it (and if tbh even at 180-185 wyrms die fast), inc is good for high health mobs, like trolls, but he can almost finish a mob off with 2 hits, and i prefer lure (always first) then firebolt, firebolt will recharge fast and increase ur dps, ice shards is a good finishing blow skill

I ve never been a fan of mixed build , u ll ve a skill with no lure and attune , no optimisation

And @armo : i see it more like i ll do 2inci on a mob with my skill order , when i ll do 1 with ur method.
Depend on dmg of inci too . Mine used to do 1800/tick
