Okay, I have a 114 level Mage. I have been trying to level on my own, but it seems my equipment just isnt doing it. So I have some questions.
What is the best gear for a Mage to use such as armor, weapons, regen, etc.
What are the best abilities I could use to solo, level by mysely?
My stats:
Celestial Armor
Boots of Speed
5 Energy regen items(I cant list them all atm)
Abilities:
Fireball- Max
Energy Shield- Max
Fire attunement- Past Max
Lure of Fire- about 20 or so
I have not played Celtic heroes in a while so I really need help with what to get. My budget is pretty high so feel free to suggest what to change or buy.
Thanks!
Re: I need help
#21. Use fire storm definitely. You already use fire attunement which adds damage to both fire bolt and fire storm.
2. Purchase a Focus of the Seer from the level 100 luxury shop in Carrowmore Tunnels.
3. Use a good chunk of your budget to purchase energy sigils.

#3Agree with Armo and fire lure no more than half max. Use the extra points to max storm bolt and attun.1. Use fire storm definitely. You already use fire attunement which adds damage to both fire bolt and fire storm.

#4Alright, it seems my abilities are good.
How about gear wise? Whats the best gear to solo?
Also, what is the ratio to have on focus/vitality?

#5Get a shield if you die pretty easily. If not, the focus off hand (and maybe the focus helmet from the lux shop) is the way to go.
Everyone has different playstyles, so giving a solid foc:vit ratio is not exactly what you want. My recommendation is play around with your vitality and find the perfect amount (not too much and not too little) then dump the rest into focus. If you can't be bothered doing that, then maybe a foc:vit 3:2 ratio can be tested by yourself then adjusted if necessary.

#6I personally prefer a 4:1 ratio, particularly if you aren't having survivability issues. But find what works for you between your eshield and health.Get a shield if you die pretty easily. If not, the focus off hand (and maybe the focus helmet from the lux shop) is the way to go.

#7Buy a white firestorm rod for your main hand weapon because it gives camouflage and regenerates energy.

I am awesome -me :)
