Celtic Heroes

I recently started playing again and I am just about to hit level 140.
I don't plan on joining an end game clan yet so I a trying to figure out what armor and gear will be best to start acquiring.

From that stat bonuses it looks like this would be a good choice for armor ad I believe it upgrades to Ancient Beastbone Armour just by collecting more bone shards.
I was wondering if any of the more experienced mages can tell me if this is a good idea to collect or if there is something better I'll want in ten levels that makes it worth skipping.

Thanks again for the input. All of my information is about two years out of date so I'm sure there is a lot of content I'm not aware of.

Two pieces of beastbone are great according to the type of mage u are :
Gloves - firebolt
Boots - firestorm
Helm - sacrifice
Greaves - ice blast
Breastplate - ice shards

My mage isnt in the lvl but hes a fire mage and soon will use ice shards maxed+, so I personally recommend even using 3 pieces if ur looking for that kind of build.
If u dont have any replacement, such as dl, use full beastbone or use some and replace the rest for wyrmbone (expensive) and helm can be silverweb/crown.

if your fire mage use the gloves and boots there op even at 196 it adds alot of dmg after awhile but your probably find better gear at a higher level
