What's the consensus? Get the vit/armor/def/regen one or the def/armor/evasions/resists one?

I mean I would i use a shield of the mountain i evade alot of spells and i dont take mch dmg

I went with the 200 shield with evasions, mostly because my mage solos just fine with full focus and didn't need anymore vit, also better for tanks and I plan to stick on my warrior when it get to 200

I don't know whats up with mages and shields these days, I like the focus offhands for max dps? I don't know about you...also Mamba is just a very rude person naturally, take no offense. He/She doesn't know how to communicate maturely with other people.

I use both a shield and a focus offhand depending on what I am doing.
It is sometimes just easier to put on the shield and pop a combo to level. DPS for most boss situation with the rare exception of no tank/ranger. I didn't need the vit I went with the better stats.

Well yeah, noone uses a shield for bosses (i did once when I had to tank 210 edl adds on my mage though), but for lixing would you rather have triple the survivability or 10% more dps? Soloing in 200 room I was getting 2 full bars with offhand shield without using any pots. I doubt you can get much better than that. Post 200, I still haven't gotten below 1.2 bars on a lix even in hallways. Haven't potted after hundreds of 4* dragons. I'd argue that my overall dps while solo is better with shield and tank lux than with my full dps build

Cool thanks. I'll grab the evasion one. When group lixing I typically use the Wyld focus ammy and 180 grim offhand but solo shield and stargem vit+armor ammy. Strange thing is I don't see much higher skills hit with all the focus gear vs all the vit and armor gear
