Fire vs Ice
#1Today in 2021, which is the best? I remember an old post saying that fire surpassed ice, but I don't know if it was true, and if it was, was fire / is it really superior to ice?

Eh, I’m in the boat where now a days (with hotswapping and the right build/gear, sadly this disclaimer is needed ._.) both are on equal enough ground where the difference in DPS capabilities is negligible.
Most prefer fire as ice requires a heavier investment into bolt than fire requires for shards as well as fire being faster and better at earlier levels. At EG though either does just fine.
That being said, fire mages are way hotter
