Somehow he must have gotten off 3+ lvl 35 eshields during the fight and had insane magic resist.

Even with 3 maxed eshields, which is practically impossible to pull off and would take 3 minutes, that is still only 4500 hp. That could be gone in like 1 minute of falgrens attacks. The guy must have had like 1000 magic resist on.

ya im not sure how he soloed it :/ but it was awesome, i do know he was able to ks me and a group of 60-70 on fal quite easily later that day tho :p
