to the point, you get lure of fire from ranger mckay,and ice shards from adyna the mage in the farcrag castle by baldwin the banker.

Do you have to be a certain level for adyna to give you the ice shards skill? Or does she just give it to you?

well its been a long time. but you have to like go all over the place. i will make a new mage and help you.

you obviously get firebolt from the start. ok all you have to do is from the start, do the hero arises, the healing, the cloak of fire blah blah blah. WARNING THAT WAS NOT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. you go into the castle and do the grand tour quest, go to lord maclir finally, then he tells you to go to adyna, then you buy it! thats it !

Cant believe i didnt complete those beginner quests!!

you had firebolt before you asked me right?

This just shows why there is nothing beginner about the beginner quests lol. And why so many people get overwhelmed and quit in the first few hours. I know I almost did back in the day.
