This may or may not help. But my friend and I made characters the same time. I made a druid he made a mage. With high sacrifice we both could maintain energy using great dps. It's a very fast cast time and recast time is great also. Neither of us needed regen of any kind. The downside, we had to both be online to kill anything or train because he needed heals and I needed energy.
