For dragon lord bosses, lures have to be in the 30s with a lot of focus (remove around 700) for them to make a difference. I've noticed that with a lure at 20, my damage is the same as it would be without a lure. I have 5k fire bolts and 6k firestorms. With a 34 lure, I hit between 1100 to 2200 on the 6 stars. I have 1200 focus. Without lure, I hit 900-1600. The resists are so high on these bosses.

Mage has huge survivabilty issues and is the least played class in this game. I've provided the stats on players in other threads. A rogue has a lot better survival and can match mage in dps. A dps druid will out dps a mage if lure of magic is used. Basically all classes can out dps mage if a mage uses a lure for their damage type.

The mage class needs improved. There are several threads already expressing this. They get buried by new posts of people creating threads about the same things alread mentioned. That is why there seems to be a disconnect with the information available.

Mage is for the hardcore that want to play it because they like caster. I've posted several awesome builds throughout this forum but they get buried by pointless threads like this.

The best fix to mage survivabilty would he if they made energy well do what I recommended in the feedback suggestions board.

druids have best dps in the long runs, bosses are the longest runs

imo with how much heals are important, dps isnt less important, the only difference is that u could gain dps from more classes, but who am i to judge druids for getting bored being the healer
