Ugh stop arguing , i suggest do what you think suits you the most.
?? Who's arguing. There is no right or wrong answer, we just don't know their particular financial state therefore have differing solutions.

Clearly they don't know what suits them best if they have made a thread asking for advice.

Instead of blowing a mill on sunshard ammy, they can invest in the focus of the seer + focus helmet from lvl 100 shop.
I've recently started my all mage. Should I invest in the focus helmet? It means I can't wear quest armor sets

Armour quest sets are close to useless for casters (druids/mages) except DragonLord since all you get is a small health/energy boost (divine damage is useless since you don't auto attack).

all the quest armors for mage are more of an added health/armor set than anything else. for dl its nice to have added skills and abilities to each part, however these skills are a random mash up of things and you most likely wont use half of them in your build. know that the quest armor is always good to have but not necessary for a day to day basis. there is better armor and gear for dps out there. you will do far less dps wearing a full set of dl, celestial, or warden.

I have saved about 30k gold since I bought the grimoire, so my budget is on the low side. I am level 82 now, which means I still have some time to save more until I'm at 100.
I really appreciate all of your input. Thanks!

Do you believe the Duskshadow / Darkshadow / etc. quest armors are close to useless too? Or are these better for casters?

Thanks!

If ur budget is too low for ammy, i suggest using kron's ammy until u can afford better one. If at least one ring and the charm arent that good, u can use full kron's shrivewood.
