#12There are those rare mages that actually make an ice build work really well. If you have great gear for your ice mage's level, he will probably be matching most fire mages of the same level.
Do what makes you happy. If you like it, great. If you don't you can always switch to fire.

Not sure why so much negativity towards ice mage builds.. They're quite fantastic and effective.
