^U need good attack gear for that tho, and most likely use some heroic attack elixirs (+ haste) for lvling, but I think it can be fun. A druid did that for lvling.

With earthstone gear and sunshard ammy, his attack is a bit over 1k.

FULL RADIANT, MAX FIRESTORM, FIRE ATTUMENT, boom u are now a beasted op mage. Trust me, I'm a professional. )))

All depends on what your goal with your toon is. I'm having fun with my h2h set up. My kills are fast; I'm taking minimal dmg with eshield; when a cast is evaded, my fire cloak and high dmg fire brand are doing continual dmg. With the exception of eshield, none of the other skills even at higher lvls require much energy. So, unlike my druid, I'm not having to eat sigils, use mana regen, and then use restos.

I'm a believer in the build you have the most fun with is the best build to play.

Is this a bossing build? Absolutely not. And you need the right gear to pull it off. But it's different and fun to play for me.
