Lmafo a bear helm in tower even with edl it's hard all the mobs have different damages there mages with magic fire warrior like class which does slashing crushing depending on which weapons they use (they change) and then u also have the eyes which I don't know there dmg inless u have a few bear helms to take on a off gl with that but I'll rather my edl aura

People underestimate the power of a bear helmet often... But I always carry around a set of them, because they are extremely useful, all you have to do is take notice of the weapon the enemy is using. Remember, 1 armor is really 1 pierce slash and crush resistance. So a bear helmet with 500 pierce resistance is like having 500 armor to bows and daggers, on a helmet! I would only recommend 400+ resist helms though. But when I use a 500 resist one it reduces my damage taken by a little over 50%. Also you should not use a full edl set to level. Edl hinders damage, and the boosts it gives does not cancel that out.

I leveled 1-190 mainly full focus, the other small person being around 100 vit. I also soloed 99% of said time(only grouped to help friends).

Why using a edl set is a bad idea, trashes your damage. Anyway if I played the stone vale, otherworld, and carrow updates and they haven't stopped me(or even came close) what makes the tower such a "big" challenge

Alright so we got 2.2k hp from set bonus and helm.... It's not gonna help you kill any faster though, which is the whole point of leveling. It's like a tank tryina level. Don't forget damage helps survivabilty too because your spending less time fighting(because you killed it faster), and you will take less hits, resulting in less damage. Forget dl or edl, they are both bad for a mage. You wanna wear damage gear at all times instead.

Just because I don't want to level anymore(for my own reasons), doesn't mean a thing. I got to 190 in the carrow update, how's the towers 220 gonna stop me. For people who say it's so hard to level in the tower, it's really not. It's just like when us older players went into an area when it was first released. But my information is still valueable because I'm telling you how to function as a mage, which helps everywhere, not just the tower.

I'm leveling my mage in tower and i tried few lixes solo With a max dps gear and a hrung helm (so no edl set) only using energy and exps and it sucks. 4* one hit me no matter how much dps i deal, 3* might kill me aswell. So unless you put lots of points i to vit and use armour defence hp lixes, it's not possibile to get decent exp solo lvling as a mage in tower.
P.S. This is not my opinion, so your answer is not needed, i'm just stating facts. And Toryn is far from being a novice mage raijin

You can get to endgame without plat, there is one mage in specific iknow of on Epona that got to 190+ without using any plat items. It just takes a lot of work and dedication to do it

This you are wrong yes i did level in a group in carrow but most of the time i was solo and this is the same for tower and I wont lie I also leveled in groups in tower but when u have a aoe dealing 700 dmg to you alone I think u need either vit or health bonuses if u wanna try to show me its easy to level with all your dps gear stop camping that castle boss and level otherwise i don't need your help. And if u want my respect stop trolling forum and really play the game for once. Also, I wanna ask u a question oh Mighty Lord Mage of the Castle Boss would u rather keep your attunement which adds 1800 dmg or would u rather the firebolt gear that adds about 1k dmg to firebolt I did pretty good without your poor leveling advice.

If he has never leveled in the tower he has no experience in tower. Zero. And that's a fact. Someone who has leveled in tower, aka everyone who knows what they're talking about, has a positive amount of experience in tower. Lot's of experience. Infinitely times more experience than you or furyion. Because you and furyion are not endgame, you have no experience in current endgame. Cya kid
