Actually go for shoreline wand (the one you get from main quest line in the beginning).

It is faster than bare hand.

I did a compare and bare hand's speed is 1750 while shoreline wand's is 1671. Well, just a teeny tiny bit faster but its still faster lol.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Idk about that wand but if your wand skill isn't leveled , I would imagine that it's faster to level hth.

but, since im bored from my chars sometimes im doing 2 more mages (h2h fire and normal caster, and ofc i got a stronger h2h ice that is my main mage from 3 of those), so i might try it at higher lvl
tho i need radiant earthstone, or.... any earthstone at all
best i got is lesser solstice (bp and greaves), but hopefully i'll get some and try it sometime

Not bad although this build has been around for around ahh i cant even remember lol and indeed it is a great build when combined with radiant however just throwing away your spells doesnt help you while you may be able to take more hits it is easily possible to incorperate the melee mage build with casting and still have around 4k hp with an energy shield so really you would be just throwing away the mages handy spells that a real mage uses. also while dps is not as good as h2h pure with radiant earthstone armor most people do not have the complete dmg bonusing pieces thus the dps would fail without your spells to pick up the slack. Also when comes to battling a warrior like that other guy said they will out dps you because they are built for melee while mages are typically not. Butttt if you incorperate your spells such as a high level shards to add to the h2h dps it is very possible to slay even the toughest warriors. Also with the proper gear a pure spell casting mage can out dps a h2h pure well out dps any class or build while the build is costly to sustain i have designed it however I will not release it because its my own little secret. But surely if you put your mind to it and did the math like i did you would see the potential (spoiler) 10k dmg per 7 seconds. Possibly more that this build would provide to you.
