Yeah rogue do same dmg as mage when us mage r in a hard fight for keeping energy and do big hits , rogue just put auto and go drink a coffee -.-
+ we have less armor

I think the nerf was way to excessive. It would have been better to boost everyone else, and not nerf the mage like this.

and mages are supposed to be almost all focus...
dont see why energy should be a problem for you
just max energy boost, maybe get a few sigils
and get some lux
with all on focus you shouldnt be running out that fast...

and if you are then either otm did a horrible job on mages
or it was meant to be that way since they are way overpowered in pvp

i DO have mage (albeit a lower level one) but still good enough to at least get a little picture of what mages deal with
and anyway if mages are soooo hard to level why are there so many high level ones?

and i click on this subject because i want to find ACTUAL INFO that might be useful in the future

After patch :
- same dmg with rogue
- less armor than rogue
- harder work for mage to do dmg because of energy and evading

What's fair ??? We rshould have more dps in compensation

Firemages still do more dps then rogues. Thats a fact.
Riposte or fire cloak. Firecloak please
Shards or sneak. Shards please i can use it 3 for every 1 sneak
Firebolt or quick. About the same
Incin or rend. Incin does around x3 the damage or rend
Iceblast or assasinate even at current state. Iceblast please it has no restrictions and assasinate well sucks.
I cant heal energy
My autos suck because bosses dodge more then half so thats no good. Rogues are not number 1 dps still after patch try a deent firemage and u will be fine again still strongest class in game.
Best indirect dps direct dps energy healers pvp and decent soloing aswell as being ranged attackers

Currently rogues are probs best lvlers (with plat) and second best dps aswell as 3rd best pvp we got nothing as a class your class can support there own energy from skills increase your own dps. And then you expect to have a 11k usuable damage skill. Rogues cant hit 11k without a ymir spear full str and all equips you wouldn't use in a boss fight a normal rogues assasinate would be lucky to hit 6k with all lures up and thats restricted.

Your class was overpowered and it got nerfed.my class was underpowered for its job and it got nerfed i wouldnt complain.

Okay, now that I have had a little time to think. (and cooldown )
-Although I was kind off shocked by a 45% decrease in ice blast, now the damage is about what I imagine it should be because it is aoe. (But why was it made so much higher in the first place?)
-I guess I am fine with the other decreases, but I wonder if cooldown a or energy cost should be tweaked of damage is decreased so drastically?
-BUT, I am not fine with the decrease in the energy shield. If anything, it needed to be boosted or completly reworked (or armor increased?)
-I apologize about any posts I have made today that may have seemed extreme or complaining. I was just surprised by the extent of the "nerfing".
