Which, in general, is better for a mage...

-Orb
-Shield of Mountains
-Shield of the Wind (good for mages like me who have maxed sacrifice)
-Gimiore

i think the orb is the most importnat because mages have energy well that increases their energy extra energy doesnt do much. and the energy boost and orb go well together. shield of the wind..... you should decide what type of mage you are. if you are a boss fight type where you sacrifice for druids go for the shield, if your a dmg mage id say go for the orb because the evasions might come in handy.

I like the masters grimoire personally the extra damage is amazing in my opinion my current build

This build works well for me

I just bought the Masters Grimoire, and all I can say is WOW! I just went from hitting green eyes from 400s to upper 400s to 500+. I gotta say go Grimoire. I gotta energy bracelet and it gives me enough combat regen.

I've been testing trident out a little bit and it's nice caus it add 200 defense plus still has 100 energy and health and damage and adds strength bonus... But the strength bonus is pointless
But in my opinion the trident is a very good offhand for Mage because when u run out of energy u can auto attack for a lol bit and still do damage while it energy regain so it not jut sitting doing nothing regaining energy

Good build, but really, 100 vitality isn't enough for 110ish mages. have at least 200, take some points out of focus, and get the Master's Gimiore.

100 vitality gives plenty of health for me

You should upgrade more, or else soon you will be getting weaker and weaker than mages your lvl. Just an advice, no offense.

I can understand the upgrading to keep up with the mobs, but does it really matter if I keep up with other mages?

I think the best offhAnd for every class is the trident it is the best if u have every chacter but I traded trident for grimore only so I could have better heals( I'm a Druid)
But then I traded that for crown spirits sheild and dimoudn icon which luckily only took my heal down by 20 and 2 on my embrace

I am starting to like my Master's Gimiore less and less. i am going to sell it soon. I don't really need the extra focus cuz i have 550 focus without it, and I'm starting to go for vitality. The book doesn't really make my ice shards, fire bolt, and firestorm hit much harder. I'll do fine without it, so I have 440k. I am either getting one of the shields, or the Arcane Orb of Spirits. Which one to get?
