Thats the fall is its a very expensive build for the greater es and fire dmg rings (in my server anyways) but if u have the money it can be very strong get 400-450 fire dmg just in buff gear when update was released i became ice build then when they nerfed it i became back to meellee build only problem i find is now when fighting new mobs they mist have high fire resist cause even with a 550 fire lure i cant max them :/

Main reason I quit was because idiots on forums complain that they're classes gets out dpsed by a"mage" and OTM nerfs em to a max extent.

Then when mages start trying to get thier buffs back, people refer to the time when they were op and OTM doesnt do anything.

Its forum life folks, those who no-life on forums win.... Especially for this game.

I fought and pleaded and worked my butt off on my mage. I've invested hundreds of dollars and thousands of hours into him. I'm around lvl 140. I really like mages in other games and really wanted to play one. Well I finally gave up.

They just suck in this game. Now I'm playing every other class and they are way better.

So don't waste your time and money, skip the mage in this game.

Dude, just go fire build, with diamond cane and trident and get some restos and move on. I can out dod rogues with blades and heroic haste on that build.

Not only is that gear expensive on my world, it is unobtainable; noone sells. So that build can never really take off.

What do you know about mages? Nothing. You don't know that energy shield costs insane amounts of energy I bet. Not all players can afford sigils.

I have to agree with you mdmarco my mage is so bad ive stopped playing and most of my posts on forums just get deleted its pointless complaining on forums they just delete the post so im compaining with my feet and not playing i keep an eye on updates and if things change i may come back but at moment its in hands of otm who seem to have gone deaf to mages plight so when there r no mages playing maybe they will address the issue

e shield sucks it dies fast and takes forever to recast plus costs stupid amounts of energy.Are u sure u had a mage in this version of the update.
