Long debate indeed. I think we pretty much reached the stalemate of we're all casters and otm seems to hate us... :(

I guess one thing I'll continue on is the Druid out dpsing me. In no way am I saying that the damage has to be changed, as we all know, any changes will only be for the worse (Nerf gun). It just seems like there is a support mage at every fight and with the new development of Druid dps being not that bad at all, a lure of magic is more frequently included in the support arsenal.

Also, energy costs are relative to how fast you cast the skill. These skills all have different cast times and therefore, the energy costs for a build are not entirely dependent on just the energy cost of a skill.

It's quite sad we have had this long discussion and the admins will not ever see this feedback...

No, I got beat by a DPS druid as a DPS mage... PREnerf POSTboost on every boss. I had half maxed ice lure (was pure ice mage) he had no lure. He was 20 levels below me. He knows who he is and is probably laughing while reading this.

Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?
