Presenting sigils as a counter-measure for energy consumption is a mistake. That implies mages already have energy problems by default, so saying skulls make mages have energy problems is not right.

No, u cant, u might not run out as fast, but u wont keep up, mostly without any skull but that also includes no sigils, or elix, or pots, only e.boost and sacrifice.

Sigils is ur best option with or without a skull, since most ppl rather not have e.boost and sacrifice, which im not sure u can still keep up with.
