i am a super victim of this my max reads that with attune, i can do almost 1.1k,
90% of the time, even on dummies i hit 60% or less than my max :x . 7% seems to be 61%-85% of my max and the last 3%, you can guess, is 85%-100%
overall: without evades, i only do 75% of my max damage. thats bad OTM. and not to mention i literally miss 1/8 of my spells, my damage is even lower. :evil:
i agree whole heartily that either there should be no to very little evades, or no to very little variation.
but i do see why OTM implemented both, because attune mages would be even more OP, but atm, we are becoming less and less satisfactory at leveling because of this.
As you get higher you will start missing about 1/4th of the time...It is extremely annoying.
well thank you for telling me my mages future is going to suck…
time to lv my rouge and warrior then!

not true. mages can be the most powerful class. evades are somewhat a problem but increase your ice or fire magic. this increases damage and chance to hit. there are so many rogues because rogues are the easiest class to level but end game mages can be very powerful. theres an abundance of warriors and rogues, so why not take the path less travelled and become a caster?

If your going for less used, choose ranger. On Lugh anyway.

Mages are very hard to level. Not just evades, but armor that is almost literally made of paper, and an extremely high energy cost.
And you still miss 1/4th of the time with maxed ice or fire magic.
