Lure of soldiers is good for slash damage users, and quite a few warriors tend to use swords/axes. Lure of magic is also a viable option, since DPS druid has been on the rise as an option after the update. When you direct points away from your damage skills into more support skills, your DPS lowers as well as your energy boost. The several times that I've been either hybrid support or full support, I didn't really need to boost myself.

Let us resolve this once and for all. Every whiner no matter which side you choose: You think mages are overpowered? Create a mage and play it, you are jealous about more options? Sure, no problem, create your own mage. You think it is unfair that mages have high skill hits? Make a mage. Mages should play support roles? So go make a mage and be full out support. Mages, we all know we got nerfed. Our skills take too long to recast, our energy shield doesnt take the damage it did before the most recent update, our skills hit lower too, far less damage, we need to make weaponless builds to get higher skill hits and have next to no damage. As solo players/solo levelling we have no way to do this properly, we have no armour, super slow energy regain, high energy cost skills, slow skills, great health vulnerability (due to no armour) so do what I did. QUIT. YOUR. MAGE. Playing them is pointless without spending a fortune. leave the OVERPOWERED mage to the folks that want the mages to get nerfed even more and demoted down to a support role only. I wish them good luck leveling that mage up to a level where support is even possible. Leveling Captain was a nightmare. Leveling Iwasthere is a blissful dream. Just play another class. Do not vote that other classes get nerfed because you are just nerfing ex mages too. Leave the other classes as is. I like them. I dont care about mages anymore. I gave up on Captain. I do not get to play 8 hours a day like the other players. I have one, maybe two hours a day, at best. I want to be able to play in peace without spending 80% of my time regenning. If you want to play too? Just play another class. The whiney believers of OVERPOWERED MAGES are welcome to start playing mages.

Good. I am glad you love it. Playing my mage meant I had loads of spare time chatting to friends. Waiting to regen. I am resentful because i am an old player that had to quit my favourite class just to enjoy this game. If you enjoy playing it though, i am glad on your behalf. It doesnt change the fact that i have played every class, and all our skills are wonderful as mage. At least. The idea of them are. If you play two classes of the same lvl and one is mage and this happens at the same time? You will gain a better u derstanding of why i am frustrated with mages. I did not want to give up my mage. Yes, but did you actually seriously play it? Try to compete for kills? Level up to 180+? I'm thinking you did have a mage but you just went around shooting a few things and not really paying attention to problems since it's not your main class. Sorry to be harsh but this seems to be the case with most people who say they have "played" a mage with no problems.

I have a 180+ Mage decent gear nothing too fancy (no dl , crappy aggy bracers) and a decked out 191 ranger ( full dl and weapon a couple dps hunger drops ) With no ass lure up my Mage (100 mp sigils) destroys my ranger (1500 hp and 500 mp sigils) . With ass lure up it's pretty even though my ranger usually comes out on top. This is assuming ranger is hastes and Mage is energy lixed.

Use energy boost. Try it out and see if the results are the same. You may find that you have to add some focus for energy boost to sustainably give you energy.

Even heroic energy lixes are not able to keep up with my energy costs for very long and that is still using plat.

LOL. My mage is level 120. not level 12. I have played since November 2011. I do not have 8 hours to play a day. I play when I have time. As to not being my main class? LOL. It was my main up until three weeks ago when I started playing my rogue. You obviously did not read my posts at all. If you did perhaps you would be able to UNDERSTAND it. I have nothing to prove to you. I was giving an opinion. If you dont like it. Don't make that my problem.

Played it to 120. Solo leveled most of the way and used no lux or sigils. Not the highest level but as high a level as most of the whiners on the forum
