Re: The statistics show: Mages half as likley to level

Depends on your clan and your world in all.

My clan is pretty small, yet we always have one 120+ Druid on for wyverns. If a Druid is on, then the rouges and warriors want to do wyverns, and then they call me or another support Mage because of lures.

Support lures can really help, they can almost reduce the time to kill a monster by half, yet if your clan or group chooses more dps then just a Mage who'll help you kill faster, that's your groups loss.

Getting to a level to actually help out with support lures are a pain. I've been playing since about Halloween, but I made my Mage after update 3. All 126 levels after the update, recieving little help from patches as they didn't give a unfathomable about mages.

As pigman said, Druids can be replaced by pots, but what can replace lures?

How much are we talking in lures? Just assasin or assasin, soldier, giants? how many points in each?
Nerfed Mage ~140
Why play a class where skills cost more than other classes for same damage?
Why play a class with no auto attack?
Why play a class with 1/3 the armor?
Why play a caster?

Copy this sig! :)

Well, what can replace lures is another dps. Sure if they got free space, they COULD accept you. But between a mage and a rogue, i wonder how many people would choose the mage.

Back on topic : since mages are the least popular class, whatever you say can't change the fact that, as useful lures can be, it's obvious there's something before players get to the point where they get those that makes them quit playing as mage. This is the main issue, and it's most probably energy.
Well, unless they have the numbers for lures. But i somewhat can picture where it would lead : mages would only get in group if they had so and so, and not if they don't. As far as i know, besides MAYBE dps druids, that would be the only class who would have to have one and only build to get in groups.
