#73Could it be that people want mages to be "support" for their own personal gain. Could it be that rogues don't want competition for gaining credit of kill. I wanted to play a mage for the sheer destruction and havoc a mage can create. I sure did not choose mage to help a rogue or ranger get a kill.

#74That's not (only ?) about not wanting to help other classes get the kill, it's (at least for me) to be able to stay active through fights. Which wouldn't possible if i went support.
Druids have heals besides their buffs. In fact, they are expected to have them. A druid without them isn't one half of the druid (s)he should be, am i right ?
So, i'd like for mages to get the same treatment. Not being asked to shut up and cast my 3 or 4 spells every two minutes then sitting idly while other players get to have fun spammig their skill/autoattacking.
Don't get me wrong, the tweaks we did have were great. Now we can actually stay a little more active while soloing. But there still is the lures issue, thatns shared by druids. I think both classes should have more active skills than passive buffs/debuffs available, not puttin all their points in the latter and then finding themselves helpless outside group fights, or having to sit while other kill the boss/mob.

As the saying goes "truth hurts".
Right on Derp and Arcana!!!
Rogues are the number one class and for good reason.
Mages still need Combat Energy Regeneration and better equipment and weapons.
Go Rogue! If One Thumb wants Rogues to run around their servers and nothing else, then so be it.

#78I've got to agree with my colleagues, the ranger who wields bolas is one bad agent. If I had the willpower to level an alt a ranger he would be.
