I actually overestimated ice mage dps. You'd get smoked, no offense. Are your blast and shards both on cooldown items?

You are correct, an ice mage would get smoked after 10 seconds. 10 seconds an ice mage would win, there is simply nothing else to say really. We have given you all the facts, but you choose to deny them. Ice mages have higher damage per skill hit because they are burst damage for quick fights, while fire mages have less damage, but shorter recharge for longer 10 second+ fights. Sometimes a fire mage will get kill in a quick fight just as sometimes an ice mage will get kill on a long fight, but in general ice is 10 seconds fire is longer.

And no 6* boss fight or lock lasts 10 seconds, and lock fights on 5* are literally 0-5 seconds long, in which the f Mage will win because of Insta cast firebolt

Facts are facts, not something you can believe to be true or not. For the record I don't mind different opinions, but I do mind opinions not supported by facts. Please check your sources next time befote you claim something to be true.

Burst dmg isnt only high dmg, but also very fast one, preferably high and instant dmg such as shadowstrike, firebolt, pummel (well pummel sucks on bosses), and perhaps quick strike (not even gonna include sharp shot). Highest hitter doesnt mean it has highest burst. The best burst DPS (not dmg) is to be able to deliver several hits at high speed rate with high dmg.
